Rise Kudo
Japan

BRIEF INTRODUCTION

Influenced by her father, she started halfpipe snowboarding at the age of three. Even as a junior, she celebrated victory after victory and in the 2020/21 season, at just 11 years old, she was called up to the Japanese national team – as the youngest female member ever.

Her debut in the adult category in November 2022 was spectacular: a commanding victory in her very first competition. A year later, in 2023, as a first-year junior high school student, she competed in the All-Japan Championships and wowed the crowd with one of the most difficult tricks in women's snowboarding – the “Cab 1080”. This secured her place in the record books as the youngest winner in the history of the competition.

With her exceptional talent and technical precision, she is considered the next great hope in Japanese snowboarding.
